Okay first of all, this is not the comic for this week. This is just a sketch update that Mike has been working on for over a week. It's sort of interesting to note that our conversation went something like this: "I'm bored, I want to draw something" "Why don't you draw our next strip?" "Those take too long. Just give me an idea to draw" "How about Superman fighting Luthor in a Power Suit?" "sure ok" Then he comes back with this. Note normally he spends about an hour or two on a FULL page comic. It takes him a WEEK to produce this. He said something about getting the "shades" exactly right. Oh I'd like to apologize to our female readers. All Zero of you. I promise that Mike is working on a shirtless Colossus next. And yeah, our next "real" update will be Thursday or Friday. Make sure to take a look at our last comic if you didn't get a chance to see it.

So this indeed did take me a week. I've never colored any of my sketches before, so there was a lot of experimentation and a lot of failure. I tried using lassos that online tutorials always seem to use, but I ended up just throwing down colors with a 50% opaque brush. I tried this thing with crazy spackled brushes for the hair, but I ended up using an opaque brush there too. And as an extra challenge, I tried to pose her without using any reference pics, and I think it came out a bit awkward.
