Latest Comic

Our latest comic was very similar to some you tube videos. I've decided to take it down. It's in the messageboard for those who care. We'll do something different this week :)

Quick and Dirty

Ummm, yeah. I've been lazy like the rest of us and also in and out of town. I'm going to summarize my thoughts for the past month:

COMICS
Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps - Best thing to come out of DC in a while
Flash - About goddamn time.
World War Hulk - HULK SMASH! Good stuff.
Annihilation: Conquest - I'm really getting into cosmic Marvel
X-Men: Endangered Species - X-continuity hurts my head. I still think Cyclops is awesome.

TV
Fantastic Four 2K6 - I've caught some of the other episodes that have started airing again, and this show really grew on me. Full of lols.
Weeds - Hilarity
Big Love - Being contrasted against crazy cult polygamist Mormons only makes you want to root for the regular, down-to-earth polygamist Mormons even more. Great show.

Movies
Fantastic Four 2 - I liked the first one and I like this one too. I'm standing by that.
Ghost Rider - I finally Netflixed this movie, and I also found it to be enjoyable. 20 Helicopters!
Transformers - I'll agree with Tim here, the plot doesn't spoil the action!
Die Hard 4 - See Transformers

New Style

Once again we are late. Mike has had a number of developments in his personal life as of late which has caused the comic to become absurdly late in the past months. Switching to this "chibi" style is a simple way for us to speed up the time it takes to produce a comic. In addition to taking less time to draw it offloads a lot of the layout work to myself. Hopefully this will allow us to hit a (semi?) weekly schedule.

Of course, the irony of having little mini-versions of the x-men engage in incest was also too irresistible. Technically, I know it's Ultimate Wanda and Pietro that sort of have a...uh...weird relationship? but 616 Pietro also seems to enjoy using his sister to reshape the universe in his father's image, so we went with the character designs that people were most familiar with.
