Current Music: Fall Out Boy

I saw TMNT this weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think there should've been a bit more fighting, Vanilla Ice, and Corey Feldman, but otherwise it was a lot of nostalgic fun and I look forward to the obvious sequel. When I was a kid, I only had the turtle toys, so they had to fight my other action figures, which were Starting Lineup figures. Imagine Michaelangelo versus Mike Scott and Otis Thorpe for April's love! True story. That was an integral part of my childhood.

R.I.P. Captain America

I haven't really posted anything since Captain America died, and now that it's been a while I figured I'd throw my two cents in. First off, I don't really have anything against killing off characters, but only if it's done well. For example, Superman was killed defending Metropolis from Doomsday, and managed to take out Doomsday as well. Cap went out like some punk. First of all he surrendered at the end of Civil War. (Guess that "A" really does stand for France) That would have been fine the way it was, but really did he have to CRY at the end of it? Then as we mentioned last week in our strip, he got killed by a sniper. Not some fight to the death with Red Skull or Nazi's. He got shot by a sniper and a brainwashed Sharon Carter? What a dumb way to die. It took like 5 million arrows to kill King Lenoidas, but it takes 3 bullets to kill Cap? Man, what bullshit.

In other news I'll be at the Emerald City Comic Con this weekend. (Not as an exhibitor or guest) My first goal will be to place a bid on this Mark Bagley cover

When I realize that I am not Bill Gates, my second goal will be to get a Sketch from Mark Bagley. When that fails, I will just get my Ultimate Spidey Hardcover signed.
