Chibi TWO

Yeah I know this strip is horribly out of date. However, we did have this exact conversation (minus the porn bits) When Kevin's Smith Spider-Man/Black Cat comic FINALLY came out. I actually bought the first couple issues, (Mike did not). I thought it started out great and had the comedic elements that I expect from Kevin Smith. Then it introduced a weird homosexual incest rape subplot. Which is guess is okaaaaay...but I buy Kevin Smith for dick and fart jokes, not some serious commentary on rape. It's sort of like how Jim Carrey was funny in the first half of Cable Guy, but a weird homicidal killer in the second half.

Sort of. Well not really. Let us know if you like these chibi strips, so we'll continue to do them :)

Saving It For Sweeps

Guess it didn't last. That makes me sad. I thought it was getting better, even though I missed the last two eps. Tim and others have pointed out that maybe it would've worked better if timed with the second movie.

Also this looks absolutely horrible yet absolutely awesome. I'm lollin'.

And I'll finish off this post with an oldie but goldie.

Me, I Want A Hula Hoop

I will admit, The Santa Clause is one of the two X-mas movies I will watch, right behind Jingle All The Way. Arnold in a rocketpack vs. Sinbad = Supreme Christmas. How come there are no Hanukah movies (besides The Hebrew Hammer)? This gives me a great idea for a screenplay--rich Hollywood investors wanted!

Get Thee To A Theatre!

Jeebus, neither of you guys have seen The Prestige yet?!? Was Santa Clause 3 just too tempting to pass up or what?

Follow Your Clue, Batman!

Two magic comics in a row. Shazam, mothafuckas. You see, if we were writing The Prestige, it'd be mostly what you see here and about 4 minutes long. That's including the awkward love story that overcomes incredible odds and blossoms into a love that defies time. And the 15 or so abortion jokes we'd throw in. No, I haven't seen it yet; the movie was sold out when I tried to go yesterday. The one thing that I don't get about this strip is that Batman is smiling. Batman never smiles.

Anyone else reading Irredeemable Ant-Man? I got intrigued by the Civil War: Choosing Sides special, and I have to say it's not as funny as I thought it would be, but still not bad. Not quite sure if it's something to reccommend yet. I'll be keeping my eye on it.

What the fuck is going on with 52? We're halfway done, and the last couple of weeks have seemed like filler. And still 2 more weeks until the next issue of Civil War. Maybe the wait will give me time to do actual work... nah.

Does this strip make any sense?

Okay so the concept came when we saw a trailer of The Prestige, which has Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale as dueling magicians. (i.e. Wolverine vs Batman)

Hopefully you guys got the connection, if not...well hopefully the idea of Wolverine and Batman doing magic, combined with violence is entertaining to you (I know it is to me) is a digital parody comic about Comic Book Characters.
