Damn Kids

In case any of you don't get this, it's a reference to Batman's Son who was introduced in Grant Morrison's latest run on Batman. See Newsarama's Preview. Supposedly he's the product of an unholy union between Batman and Talia. Last I recall that story was banished to "elseworlds," but I guess Mr. Morrison brought him back. I haven't read much of it, but if he's really named "Damien" and is going to act like a little brat...hopefully he'll go more the way of Jason Todd, and not Tim/Dick. (Of course I mean pre-Red Hood Jason Todd)

Just in Case

I've had a couple friends ask me who the third girl in the strip is. It's Talia al Ghul, daughter of Ra's al Ghul. You know, the guy from the movie with Christian Bale, who moonlights as head cleric of the Tetragrammaton. The strip is related to the current arc in Batman, just in case you haven't been following it.

Part 2! It's pretty self-explanatory. I wish my lines worked as well as Batman's, but he has $$$ on his side. We've hidden (it's not very hidden) a reference to a classic (read: before we added color) Pass Fail strip! See if you can find it, faithful readers!

Halloween season is coming up, and you have to love it because everyone dresses like a slut! And I quote, "Batman might still be around today if he had a side kick that looked like this Hero Cutie." Apparently, not only is Batman dead, but only a Robin covered in lycra and boobs would have saved him. Wait, I think they tried that once.
