Backgrounds are a bitch. :) Although this strip is sort of related to Civil War, it's more a Young Avengers strip. Civil War is just really, really good; we haven't been able to think of a good way to poke fun at it directly yet. I'm sure we'll have one eventually, but I take it as a good sign that it seems, at the moment at least, PassFail-proof. Shame about the delay, though. Today, I went to the California Science Center's Marvel Superhero Exhibit. I swear museums are just places to keep kids with ADD busy. In fact, that's probably how I developed it. Not really worth the money (pay for a museum? unpossible!); but it's the sort of thing I'd've been creaming myself to go to as a kid. As much as a kid can cream himself, that is. If you enjoy our sense of humor, you'll probably enjoy Beerfest.

IGN has some images from the new Fantastic Four Animated Series, and I have to say that visually it looks very impressive. I haven't seen any videos for it yet, so if anybody knows of a site with any previews, please send them our way. However, given how mediocre both Ultimate Avengers Movies were, I'm remaining cautiously optimistic. I've never really been a fan of any of the Marvel Cartoons. Yes, Spider-Man and X-Men were good, but they were really just re-hashes of popular comic stories. Shows like BTAS and JLU actually surpassed their comic counterparts in many ways. With the DCAU reduced to just Legion of Superheroes, hopefully Fantastic Four will be able to pick up some of that slack. (note: the above statement does not include X-Men: Evolution, as I never was able to view all the episodes of that series)
