Sorry for the lateness. Yes, we've finally posted a real strip in who knows how long. May this trend continue weekly until the end of time. (or whenever Mike has another business trip around the same time as a major comic-con). In the meantime, who is watching Who Wants to be a Superhero? I don't know if it's embarassingly funny, just plain bad, or if I'm jealous I'm not on there. Though there are rumors it's fake...I find it highly entertaining. I recommend it if you like Superheroes. Or semi-hot girls in spandex. (or ugly girls in spandex) EXCELSIOR!

We Put The Urrection in Resurrection Posted by Scott - 2006-08-05

This strip was inspired by that one Teen Titans arc where Raven was going on and on about Death's door being ajar ever since Superman had the gall to bust through it. While this strip was being drawn/colored, I was reading the X-Men: Phoenix Rising trade paperback that I grabbed at Comic-Con (because two of my weaknesses are early X-Factor and things that are 50% off), and I came across this somewhat appropriate quote of Kurt Busiek in the foreword: "But do me a favor, would you? If you ever come up with a great idea for how Uncle Ben or Bucky could still be alive... keep it to yourself, okay?" Now, as many of you may know or have gathered from the strip, Bucky's come back, and we saw a semi-resurrection of Uncle Ben in the recent Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Now, I'm not up-to-date on how the former happened, but I'd like to think our idea for Uncle Ben is genius, wouldn't you agree?
