52 Update

Greetings, readers!

As you no doubt can tell from the strip above, let alone from the actual comics and the internet, things are changing in the DC Universe. We didn't have enough room to catalogue all the alterations in the strip, but we are privy to a few spoilers about how Earth's history has changed and how 52 will play out! So, here goes:

-Green Lantern Rings are now weak against pink (the Parallax Anomaly).
-Martian Manhunter is no longer addicted to Oreos/Chocos; he exclusively eats E.L.Fudge cookies now.
-The Question now has a sidekick called The Exclamation in 52. She is rumored to join the Teen Titans OYL.

But in all seriousness, Infinite Crisis is finally over and it was a ride, huh. I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about it; IC never really felt like a crisis and was anti-climactic compared to the buildup. But the buildup was awesome, and I definitely got a lot more interested in a bunch of characters, such as Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, and Animal Man, and went off to read their respective histories. Still, it remains to be seen if anything important really has changed other than team lineups, and I couldn't give a crap about Alex Luthor's revelations in IC 7. But 52 started up this week, and it looks interesting enough, so I guess the ride's far from over. Booster!

And as I'm typing this my friend sent me a teaser of Superman OYL.

X3

OMG just watched the 7 min special thing for X-Men 3. Hotness! 2 weeks left!

However, I just have to say a word regarding some of the actresses; they really do not live up to my expectations of the characters from the comics. Of course, this was to be expected; comic book women are always drawn as that unattainable standard. But, they still don't look like my favorite X-Women, regardless of hotness. Pretty much only Moira looks like I'd expect Moira to look. It's OK, though, because I am fuckin' pumped for this movie regardless.
